  At the end of the 1950s, Televerket and Ericsson recognise the need for a new telephone that is modern, lightweight, and durable. The task of designing it is assigned to the architectural office AOS which spends several years sketching what will become the Dialog telephone.

  With a handset that fits comfortably against the cheek and a design that makes the phone light and portable, the Dialog becomes a popular favourite in many Swedish homes during the 1960s.
