In the exhibition, visitors could experience and learn more about the scents and flavors of Christmas. The exhibition often opened in early December and could continue into January.
In addition to families, schools were an important target group. School groups could book in for a viewing with experiments. The staff were dressed in white coats and Santa hats.
One year, The Chemistry of Christmas was held as an exhibition at NK, in collaboration with the department store.
The exhibition was produced and renewed by several of the museum's curators over the years.
