The exhibition showed products and production. Everything from a manufacturer of stone marbles in Tollarp, Skåne, to Kalle's caviar on the west coast. The exhibition opened up a debate about the cultural heritage of the Swedish industrial society. Several of the companies had become part of international groups and the products were dependent on imported raw materials.
After being shown at the the National museum of Science and Technology from the autumn of 1999, the tour went to Västerås City Library, then to Gothenburg City Museum, Torekällbergets Museum and then Kulturfabriken in Örnsköldsvik. The exhibition could then be supplemented with local examples.
The documented products were Barnängen, W-kulor, Falu Rödfärg, Kalle's Kaviar, Ambassadeurrullen, Karlsson's klister, Vansbrosparken, Liljeholmens ljus, Läkerol, Ettan snus, Höganäskruset, Morakniven, Sweden Beech Sticks and Wettex.
