Sommeren 1948 ble en to etasjers bjørklaua fra Jamtvollen satt opp. Teksten beskriver oppsetting av hus ved Doktortjønna fram til sommeren 1949. Bokas redaksjon er avslutta i 1941, og boka er trykt i 1942. Det er noen som ikke stemmer vedrørende datering av trykking/utgave.
